My interest in exploring form and color in watercolor, printmaking and oil painting has been ongoing. While traveling, the watercolor block is very handy in hotel and pensione rooms. The prints were done in workshops of the American Center for Students and Artists and Atelier 17 in Paris. The earliest oil painting shown here was done in Rhodes, one of the four major sites in Greece, where in the 1960s, at least, inexpensive rooms and studios were provided for artists. The others were done at the just opened Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris, and in the U.S. at the Mac Dowell Colony.
